JCI is a nonprofit organization of young active citizens age 18 to 40 who are engaged and committed to creating impact in their communities. Active citizens are individuals invested in the future of our world. JCI gathers active citizens from all sectors of society. We develop the skills, knowledge and understanding to make informed decisions and take action.
The 4 Pillars of JCI
There are four pillars or areas of opportunity within the organisation: Individual, Business, Community and International. By getting involved you gain practical hands-on experience, help plan events, be part of a project team and/or take on a position within the local and national council.
JCI members share a passion to challenge and develop themselves. They understand that developing their skills helps improve the world around them.

Be part of the movement
A big part of the JCI experience is getting involved in projects. These can be events or based on community needs. By getting involved in these projects in different capacities, you develop expertise that you may not have the opportunity to in your day job.
JCI holds many events that attract young professionals from all over their city base all looking to improve themselves and their community. As JCI is not sector specific, often participants of JCI cross paths with people they would never meet otherwise.

Developing Leaders For A Changing World
As a JCI member, you will have access to a whole host of opportunities to help you develop both personally and professionally. We run training sessions on a diverse range of subjects including project management, presenting and personality skills, managing finances and digital media.
JCI also offers a fantastic debating and public speaking network, with our members winning European & World debating championships as well public speaking on the International stage. As an organisation run by the members for the members, people are encouraged and supported to step into leadership roles on local, projects or national boards.
